Chopra is used during festivals in India.  It contains 2 sections - to hold chawal (rice) and roli (for tika).  

The Kalash is considered a symbol of abundance and source of life. It is believed to contain ‘amrita’ - the elixir of life - and thus is viewed as a symbol of abundance, wisdom, and immortality.  Because of this, the Kalash is worshipped at Hindu ceremonies like Griha Pravesh (house warming), child naming, etc.  Therefore, the Kalash Chopra is apt for gifting for a religious / auspicious ceremony, or on occasions that mark a new beginning such as Diwali, New Year’s, weddings, etc.  

This Chopra is available in 2 sizes.  The smaller one has an orange base and has beautiful cone work in red. Besides, red and white stones used add to the beauty of this piece of art. The larger one has a brown base, with yellow cone work, along with red stones.  It has a beautiful criss cross design in the centre with yellow dots at intersections, which makes the Chopra very attractive.
