Chopra is usually used during festivals in India. It contains 2 sections - one to hold chawal (rice grains) and the other to hold roli (a red colored substance used to adorn the forehead). This Chopra is in the shape of the Satia. The Satia is considered to be a very auspicious symbol in India, and is drawn before the beginning of any auspicious ceremony. This Satia Chopra has been decorated with a cone containing rich red ceramic colour and white stones. Being in the shape of the Satia, this Chopra would be a very good gift item around festivals / ceremonies, or on occasions that mark a new beginning such as weddings / New Year’s.
